Advocacy
Henderson House advocates provide domestic violence, sexual assault, and human sex trafficking response and advocacy, crisis intervention, emergency 90-day shelter, a 24-hour crisis line, coordinated wrap around service referrals, support groups, bilingual Spanish services, and youth outreach.
Protection Orders
Advocates assist clients in filling out protective orders, based on client’s circumstances. Advocates will provide clients with detailed information regarding the differences between each protective order and allow client to choose the order that best fits their situation.
Support Groups
Support groups are available in English and Español.
Shelter
Many survivors find that they need a safe and confidential place for themselves and their children to stay. It may not be safe for them to stay another night under the same roof as their abuser.
Prevention Education
One Circle strives to encourage youth to hold on to their voices and stay true to themselves. It enhances judgment and critical thinking skills for wise and healthy choices and counters trends towards self-doubt while improving self-esteem.
