Judge David “Bubba” King
David “Bubba” King and his wife Sarah own Godspeed Hollow, a small dairy farm in Newberg, where they live and raise their two children. In addition to being a dairy farmer and small business owner, Bubba serves as the President of Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce. Bubba is currently seeking the office of Yamhill County Commissioner in this November’s election. Bubba was a member of City of Newberg’s SDC Committee, which focused on finding a balance between affordable development, workforce housing, and preservation of our county’s beloved character. Through this work, Bubba helped create a process to incentivize development of affordable, single-family homes with SDC discounts.
