Tim Love

Timothy Love was born in southern Oregon and was raised in abject poverty, spending his childhood with his five siblings and without any electricity or plumbing. After graduating at the top of his class in high school, he received a full ride to Linfield College where he did track, along with majoring in Education and English. Timothy was the Linfield mascot and went on to mascot for the Beavers for three years. He has spent months working with handicapped orphans in Mexico, street kids in Zambia and once spent a summer sleeping on park benches and parking garages across the continent of Europe. For over a decade he has taught social studies at Duniway Middle School here in McMinnville, shaping students’ worldviews, finding ways to make dodgeball a part of his curriculum and mummifying fish. Timothy and his wife Megan have been married for 14 years and have two sons, Conner and Caleb, who were adopted from Korea. In his spare time, Timothy enjoys travel, drawing, and reading first century theologians, as well as digesting the Economist religiously.
